Refund and Cancellation Policy

How You Pay, and How a Refund Returns

All BedWatch Africa payments, for every plan including visitor plans priced in USD, are processed by Paystack. There is no separate USD payment processor: a visitor plan shown as "$15" is charged in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) at the exchange rate shown to you at checkout — see the plan page for the exact GHS amount before you pay.

A refund is returned to the same card or mobile money account you paid with, via Paystack, in Ghanaian Cedis. If your card or mobile money provider charges its own currency-conversion fee, that fee is set by your provider, not by BedWatch Africa, and is not something we can refund.

Refunds are typically initiated within 5 business days of approval. How long it then takes to appear in your account depends on your bank or mobile money provider, typically 5–10 business days for cards and faster for mobile money.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No refunds are provided for the current billing month.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. After 7 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel after 7 days, your subscription will remain active until the end of the annual period.

Day Pass

Day passes are non-refundable once activated.

Visitor Plans

Visitor plans of 30 days or less are non-refundable once activated. Visitor plans of 3 months or more may be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund.

Technical Failures

If the platform is unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours due to a BedWatch Africa system failure, affected subscribers will receive a pro-rated credit to their account.

BERF Refunds

The portion of your annual subscription allocated to the BERF fund is not separately refundable. If an annual subscription is refunded within the 7-day window, the full subscription amount, including the BERF-allocated portion, is refunded.
